Artist's Comments

Trying to draw more realistic and improve as an artist. I think this looks better than my older art. I also wanted to change Gemynias a bit so I gave him scars to reflect his past. There are three, one for the loss of his parents, one for the loss of his baby sister, and the last one for the loss of his first love.

Whoo, I can tell you've improved a lot. The form has so much more depth and dimesion now, and I love the shading. I also like how you paid attention to detail in the fur texturing, facial features and paws. Poor Gemynias :[

Aww.. that's very sad. :\ But it's obvious this is one of your best. The paws, wings, face... it's all improved. I can see a improved coloring/shading technique. Great job. :D

Thanks! I got a few more sketches, one I ran out of room on my paper so I'll have to fix it on the computer. I don't know when I'll be getting to them though.

Thanks to you too! I know I haven't done art in quite awhile... I've been pretty busy.

Ah.. This is beautiful. The paws look fantastic. =3 Nice job with Gem's expression too.

Gem looks adorable. His antomy is great and more improved. I love your idea of the scars...now he's even more special. :D  Love the lineart/shading/paws/wings/eyes/expressi on...xD

Aww, Gemynias! Seems he went through a lot of pain. I can see it in his face. Dreamish, I can see you are improving already. There is more depth in this artpiece, and the shading is fantabulous. The shading in the neck and chest area are especially well done. Like the little side poem, too, sad but eloquent.
